Founded in 1955, Dexter Stamping Company is located in Ann Arbor Michigan, just one hour from Detroit. Beginning as a tool and die shop, Dexter Stamping has evolved into a full service metal stamping supplier and one of the largest non-trim users of stainless steel coils in the nation. We have built our business on providing close tolerance, complex stampings and assemblies, with all products equipped with computer-assisted monitoring/planning systems.

As a major automotive stamping supplier, our specialty is stainless steel stampings, primarily used for fuel handling in automobiles and other associated details which are welded and or assembled. We are experts in fabricating a variety of value added processes, including forming, bending, welding, assembly, washing, tumbling and finishing.

Dexter manufacturers over 50 million parts annually, supplying 30 different global locations as a second and third tier supplier.
