Dexter Stamping Company is a well-known manufacturer of metal stampings and has been providing high quality, tight-tolerance stampings to the industry for more than 50 years. Founded in 1955, Dexter Stamping Company is located in Ann Arbor Michigan, just one hour from Detroit. Beginning as a tool and die shop, Dexter Stamping has evolved into a full service metal stamping supplier and one of the largest non-trim users of stainless steel coils in the nation. We have built our business on providing close tolerance, complex stampings and assemblies, with all products equipped with computer-assisted monitoring/planning systems.
Dexter Stamping is widely considered to be the expert in fabricating a variety of added value processes, including forming, bending, welding, assembly, washing, tumbling and finishing.

As an automotive stamping supplier, our specialty is stainless steel stampings, which are primarily used for fuel handling in automobiles and other activities such as welding and assembly. Materials range from .005" to .250" cold roll, hot roll, galvanized, aluminum, copper and stainless steel. Dexter Stamping Company is classified under SIC Code 3465. Dexter Stamping Company is committed to complying with all applicable legal and other requirements in order to continually improve processes to reduce and prevent pollution in accordance with ISO 14001 standards and customer requirements.
